A suitcase of her own

Since she loves to organize all of her new things, we decided to buy her a suitcase of her own.  She could not wait to get back to the hotel and pack all of her things in her suitcase.  She has organized twice already.  She is very proud of all of her new things.

Tomorrow we will go visit her orphanage.  The director has agreed to allow Lipei to visit with her close friends and nannies.  I am told that they do not normally allow this.  Lipei bought many gifts for her friends and wants to deliver them personally.  So tomorrow maybe an emotional day for all of us.  Lipei has already picked out the outfit that she would like to wear and is very excited.

We finally figured out the electronic translator we purchased and it is helping out a lot! Lily is very smart and can read and write in both Chinese pinyin and characters.  She picked out several books and they are not small chapter books.  We were impressed.  We are truly blessed and I hope that  she picks up English quickly.
