On Saturday, we will travel half-way across the world to bring home miss Lily Lipei. We are hoping for a smooth transition but preparing for the worst. She has lived in an orphanage her whole life and will be one scared little girl. She will not only leave with strangers but with strangers who do not look like her, do not speak her language, do not even eat the same food, and go to a place that is completely different and truly foreign to her. I pray that God will open her heart and ease her fears.

You are an amazing mom and in time, Lily will realize how very lucky she is to call you Mommy....and you, to call her your daughter!
